Pengeringan Sampah Organik Rumah Tangga
Abstract
Pengeringan sampah padat merupakan tahapan proses yang penting sebelum dibakar pada insinerator. Tujuan pengeringan untuk mengurangi volume, menstabilkan dan, meningkatkan nilai panas sampah. Berdasarkan referensi yang ada tiga jenis metode yang biasa digunakan pada pengeringan sampah yaitu konveksi, konduksi dan kombinasi keduanya. Pada makalah ini dipaparkan tinjauan teoritis mekanisme pengeringan ketiga metode di atas. Selain itu juga dijelaskan berbagai dampak gas buang yang ditimbulkan ketiga jenis pengeringan berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang dimuat pada beberapa jurnal. Paparan ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk merencanakan sistem pengeringan pada sampah organik rumah tangga.
