The Indonesian Green Technology Journal https://igtj.ub.ac.id/index.php/igtj
The Indonesian Green Technology Journal (IGTJ) is a bilingual journal (Indonesian, English) that publish recent development and emerging issue in both conceptual and experimental aspects of green and renewable technology (science, engineering, medicine, agriculture, information technology, fisheries, animal husbandry, law and social aspects of green technology implementation), and its impact in general and industrial communities. This journal is also emphasising the significance of green technology development, implementation, challenge, opportunity, and acceptance in Indonesian perspective. IGTJ is publicly opens for publication of review paper, short communication, and research paper.
en-US
Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).

Once submitted, it is the corresponding author's responsibility to confirm and warrant the name included as an author of the work is true (shadow author is unacceptable) and that no conflict of interest occurred among the authors.

Agus, Annisa, Basyri, Anam, Daniel, Meylina Copyright (c) 2024 The Indonesian Green Technology Journal https://igtj.ub.ac.id/index.php/igtj/article/view/2034 Tue, 09 Jan 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Study of Eugenol and Salicylic Acid Interactions in Hybrid Molecule Encapsulated for Enhanced Antioxidant https://igtj.ub.ac.id/index.php/igtj/article/view/2032
Drug development continues to be carried out so that drugs can work effectively. Creating a drug formula can be achieved by combining two or more synergistic drug compounds by hybridization, blending, or synthesis. This study reports findings of antioxidant activity using the good DPPH method from the synthesis of eugenol and salicylic acid using the encapsulation technique. The encapsulation technique uses chitosan as a coating material to protect the active ingredients, taking advantage of its unique functional characteristics, including the ability to form bonds with the crosslink agent sodium tripolyphosphate (Na-TPP) at a speed of 13,500 rpm with a pH of 4.2 to optimize the formulation. The encapsulation system produced the majority of particles measuring 241.0 ± 19.8 nm, with an encapsulation efficiency of 58.29 ± 0.40%.
